  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  2. Cream Butter & Sugar: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and cane sugar until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
  3. Add Eggs & Vanilla: Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  4. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and sea salt.
  5. Combine Wet & Dry: Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
  6. Scoop & Shape: Drop teaspoon-sized portions of dough onto the baking sheet and flatten slightly.
  7. Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden. For crispier wafers, bake an additional 1-2 minutes.
