Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef grass-fed preferred
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni or pasta of choice
  • 2 cups beef bone broth or regular beef broth
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced (or ½ tsp garlic powder)
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp mustard powder optional
  • ¼ tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1-2 large eggs

Method

  1. Cook ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  2. Add butter and garlic, cooking for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Stir in onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, mustard powder, and smoked paprika. Add bone broth and milk, then bring to a simmer.
  4. Stir in dry macaroni, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Whisk the egg in a small bowl. Reduce heat to low and slowly stir the egg into the pasta mixture to prevent scrambling.
  6. Turn off the heat and stir in cheese and Greek yogurt until smooth and creamy.
  7. Taste and adjust seasonings if needed. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra creaminess, add a splash of milk or heavy cream before serving.
  • Want more protein? Use ground bison or turkey or add more Greek yogurt.
  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat on low with a splash of milk.
